Rachel and Drew

Rachel and Drew’s beautiful wedding was held June 25th at the Bowers Museum in Santa An, CA.  Drew had done some work their with a mentor, so it became a significant place for him.

Both Rachel and Drew are diplomats serving in Mexico….. in order to serve at the same diplomatic post, a couple must be married, so technically they were already married, but they wanted a formal wedding that all their friends and family could participate in.  It was a smashing success full of warmth and joy:)

Here are a few from the festivities.  Enjoy!

Brigette and Erik in Paso Robles & Croad Vineyard

Brigette and Erik had an intimate wedding in Paso Robles, CA.  The ceremony was at a beautiful old church: The Episcopal Church of St. James The Apostle.  The reception was at a winery, Croad Vineyards.  The weather was great, too.  On the way over to the Church, Erik got a flat tire:(  He handled it with grace and things went ahead as planned, thank goodness.  Just a reminder that things often don’t go exactly as planned at a wedding, so don’t squeeze your timeline; make sure you have allotted enough time for what you want, and be prepared to be flexible.

Brigette with her dad getting ready to walk over to the church.

Max, the ring bearer at only about two, isn't really walking yet, so his Dad gave him a hand.

I was able to make this shot from the front of the church looking into the congregation. I like the different perspective--we usually only see the ceremony from the back.

Lesley and Jack in Phoenix, AZ

Lesley and Jack had a charming BBQ wedding in March in Phoenix. The weather was beautiful too.

This also marks my first post on my new blog!!:)  There are still some kinks to be worked out, so my apologies in advance if navigating is a little cumbersome (*blush*).

Enjoy the pictures!

Mad Libs, wet wipes, pens and flowers. Lesley's Mad Lib's were funny from what I could see:)

Getting her make-up done outside under natural light.

Shoe Porn! The ladies all rocked out later in color coordinated classic Converse basketball shoes--even little ones for the kids!

Helping Lesley get ready......

Blue and white streamers Lesley made herself. They matched her dress, decorations, and color scheme perfectly.

A little trouble with the ring, but everyone was so relaxed we all just kind of laughed:)

Couldn't resist one more shoe shot. It's not that I have a shoe fetish, it's that Lesley told me in advance she wanted cool pics of the shoes. Make sure to tell your photographer what is important to **YOU** as an individual!! What is important to one bride may be very different to another bride.
